In the Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon watch, Cartier introduces a movement that has been designed, manufactured and assembled by our very own master watchmakers. The skeleton calibre 9461 MC is a revolutionary tourbillon because it incorporates an elongated carriage that enables the balance to complete one circuit of the dial every minute, like a celestial body. The balance bridge in the form of an arrow thus replaces the central seconds hand. Cartier has chosen an elegant modern design to showcase this unique movement: the Rotonde de Cartier case with a diameter of 47 mm. All these characteristics combine to make this watch an exceptional example of Fine Watchmaking.
